Asiv produces over 350 tons of fabric on an average month.

Capabilities

Through our R&D department, we offer the development of unique fabrics. Past projects include:

  • Technical textiles with performance and functional properties for the medical industry including protection and anti- bacterial
  • Carbon-fiber knitting
  • Glass, gold and copper knitting
  • Jacquard knitting

Machines

Single Jersey circular knitting machines in a range of gauges and cylinder diameters, including open width machines able to knit fabrics with 8-10% elastane, without leaving a center crease line. Double Jersey (Rib) knitting machines in various gauges and cylinder diameters Three Thread Fleece knitting machines 30’’ (18 and 20 gauge).

 

The majority are Mayer & Cie machines made in Germany, others include Pai Lung (Taiwan) Vignoni (Italy) and Unitex (Singapore).

We knit in various compositions using cotton ring spun yarns, and filament yarns including polyester, rayon, micro nylon polyamide, and others.
